If you are not being true to your own desires you are not pursuing what can really make you happy in the now. I believe happiness comes from inside yourself. Sure, the people you love can add to your happiness and the job that you have can provide resources to make life more comfortable but I think the pursuit of happiness is one’s own responsibility. And if happiness is a goal in one’s life it needs to be given some priority by the only person who can make it happen, yourself.
